Today we discuss the current state of AI (Artificial Intelligence), the science, theories, and philosophies around its future, and the potential dangers/concerns with the impending next “phase” of AI. Is it possible we can create a “computer” that is as smart or smarter than us in every way (e.g. human-level intelligence)? Many scientists, technologists, and philosophers say “yes”, and “soon”.
